I can get it for ya I can hang upside down on ceilings for ya I can take my shoes off on your shitty foyer I can make you feel good, make a million for ya Oh Lord Look God I been praying, please turn me to water to fill any sort of Corner that I'm forced in Whether wine glass, or beer can, or horse skin Foreskin, what everybody wanna see Important, what everybody wanna be So I let them mafuckas talk about themselves Masturbation of the mind where we all excel Look, I am your mirror Let it appear You were sincere In every effort to make everything fair And if you didn't, let's be perfectly clear Everyone here, has fallen victim to intentions were there You see I get it, words are often Jumbled up, and never the same, to the people that got em As when you had thought em But dealing with autumn You leave all the fallen Leaves right at the bottom Where they're belonging And I know that I'm gon' change And that means that I won't be the same But I ask my God, don't let me fall a-part Getting caught in the vortex... Catch me don't Catch me don't Catch me don't Yeah Catch me don't Catch me don't Catch me don't Yeah Catch me don't Catch me don't Catch me don't I was born in the 1-9-9-9-0 What you know about it What you heard about it That was before Nas was really bout it That was two years after Supersonic Sandwiched in between was the Clifford chronic Blueberry yum, yum on his pacifier Taken to the outside where the snow was falling Where it made his shoulder kinda whatcha call it Colder than a mothafucka Grew to be a daughter fucker Then into a music lover Then a microphone cuffer Soon to be a motherfucker Sure to find his way under the cover Of a undercover freak Been about it every week Not a culture of the weak Humming' and whistling, talking, literally walking to his own beat So what you gonna tell him? His cerebellum Is programmed to the pocket Plug him in the socket Watch the different options Of what can be accomplished Shine bright like the light of a lost kid It don't matter whether classroom or office He be maneuvering while every gawking He'll be the running man while everyone walking He'll be the flying man while everyone falling It don't matter put him defense or offense And watch him fuck them up... nigga Catch me don't Catch me don't Catch me don't Yeah Catch me don't Catch me don't Catch me don't Yeah Catch me don't Catch me don't Catch me don't This for my niggas that believe in the 3rd verse Emile Hirche I ain't actin so you can feel hurt These real words I don't speak it ain't worth a million, to the millions and I hope it'll endure This Clifford And one thing that I can say for sure, is that I know myself So nigga know yourself So don't nobody else, make up the answer for you my nigga 'Cuz believe me they will

There's a way to the light Let me go, I just wanna do right Be a man, take good care of my wife Keep it simple and move on with my life But you keep telling me I can't This is me, this is just how I'll act For forever, might as well get a latch 'Cuz you and I are never unattached So I try to hit you with a bat Or a hatchet, anything to detach Cuz I know that if I feed into that You'll get fat, and my soul will collapse And then God said... It won't always be this way You ain't gotta think tomorrow is your yesterday You just gotta take a breath 'For you take another step Cry it out if you gotta It won't take none from your honor Keep it poppin' for poppin's sake, if that is how you feel Remember to pack your brakes cuz you're gonna appeal To everyone and their momma Your light is that of Obama So this little light of yours, nigga you gotta let it shine!! Shine, shine, shine, shine Let it shine, shine, shine, shine, shine Let it shine, shine, shine, shine, shine, shine, shine, shine, shine Nigga gotta let it... I told Kerim... I'm ready to get married He said you sure? I said yeah, he said boy Look you better go home, like right now, and think about this shit Cuz there's only one wedding that I'm going to for Cliff Ain't no second, ain't no third, ain't no motherfuckin fourth So you better make the right fucking choice, choice, choice, choice I'm talking sexual urges drivin' you crazy I'm talkin' when you got babies And she want special occasions But you can't make it Cuz you busy makin' shit To bring the bacon in What you gon' say to them How you gon' relate to them When you just glad you made it in Hopin' to grab a pin Smoke it and call your friends Tell em bout where you been Plan out some other sessions And maybe call up your reverend To discuss revelations, proverbs and Jesus's essence And, you know, like, big shit like that dog Cuz your main, niggas still, out here making cat calls And you tapped out from the bat calls Can't cover it cuz your mask off Flashing lights from the left, right And all of a sudden your path lost Now you gotta, erode the blocks, fill and the marks, with bath salt Shamen Courtney layin' hands on Suckin' out your demons Feelin' like you you Kanye Nah, feelin' like I'm Andre Feelin' like, I got mad shit on my chest now I can't wait to get it out These cops are trynna shoot at me These karens trynna loot at me These women wanna kill These niggas want me to give them some meditation, want me to give them yoga When I don't know what to tell em, and I can't get no control of My emotions, they everywhere, nothing even makes sense anymore My thoughts are distorted and dog my confidence been destroyed What do you but submit? Shit, this is truly yours... This is Cliff Jaylin Speaks

about

In the summer of 2019, Cliff had two choices. Accept his offer to Grad School or Accept the Artist Fellowship Grant he won from the Arts and Humanities organization of Washington, DC. He chose the latter to make Today, Pigs Fly.

This album finds Clifford reaching for an understanding of life as he and his friends heal from the Traumas of the past. He also made this in the middle of a pandemic and got married. So, there's that.

Cliff handled most of the production himself and had a blast doing it.
